Haikubox was recently featured in a WBRE-TV segment on outdoor activities!
You can watch a long version of the segment on Facebook or a shorter version with this weblink.
The station's team tested Haikubox near their Pennsylvania location and found lots of species that they could listen to and enjoy. Even the non-birdwatcher on the team found herself geeking out on the Haikubox technology and the things she could learn from a Haikubox.
We were especially tickled that one of the hosts wrote his own haiku poem:
Sounds of native birds
Data gathered in my palm
Thank you Haikubox
And yes... if a real Bald Eagle was outside their station, Haikubox would be able to identify it from its call (sorry, stuffed animal)!
